Nepali soldiers deployed in the United Nations peacekeeping mission in Lebanon have been attacked. A provocative mob attacked a vehicle carrying Nepali Army Lieutenant Colonel Chowk Bahadur Dhakal and other security personnel. Two peacekeepers, including Lieutenant Colonel Dhakal, were injured in the incident on the Nepal side. The injured Dhakal has been admitted to the UN Level 3 Hospital.
