
A Delta Air Lines plane skidded and overturned while landing at Toronto Airport in Canada. The plane was carrying 80 passengers and crew members and ended up on the edge of the runway covered in thick snow.Eighteen people were injured in the accident, three of whom (one child and two adults) are in serious condition.
It is believed that the plane overturned due to heavy snowfall and strong winds while landing at 2:45 pm local time, although the exact cause of the crash has not been revealed.
Toronto Airport has closed two of its five runways following the accident, causing more than 200 flights to be canceled.
